Kindergarten Graduation

May 20th @ 2:00 in the gym. Come early as the gym fills quickly. Friday is a free dress day, but for only KINDERGARTEN students. Students are encouraged to dress their best for the ceremony. School uniforms are required on Friday, so feel free to send a change of clothes.

Thursday, May 19th is the Kindergarten field trip to the Denver Zoo. Here are a few things to remember:
1. Please bring a disposable sack lunch
2. Uniform shirts are required, but students are allowed to wear jeans.
3. Dress for the weather as we are going rain or shine!
4. We will return to BECS around 2:00

The Kindergarten students belong in the zoo...for a field trip! Permission slips have been sent home, and are due back Wednesday, May 11th. The field trip is Thursday, May 19th. Please send your child prepared for the weather AND with a sack/disposable lunch. Chaperones are always great, but will not be able to ride the bus. Homework for the week of May 2-6th will be sent home on Tuesday. *Please note, this week's homework will ONLY be spelling and the decodable book.

The students and I have really enjoyed observing the eagle and the eaglets. Take a look for yourself, and be sure to ask your child about it!
